This is Saturday’s place to be!
All summer long, on Saturday mornings, the farmer’s market is the place to be. Rain or shine, local farmers are there to present their products. Bread, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, meats, Asian specialties, honey, there really is something for everyone.
Freli and the surrounding area have an incredible diversity of local products and on Saturdays, all the abundance of the land is concentrated in one place. Believe me, it's worth the trip!

Classes among trees, what better way to learn?
In Freli, there’s only one tiny primary school, but what a school! Saint-François-d'Assise school is located in a magnificent heritage building perched on a hill. It’s a small community that has built its educational project around the values of eco-responsibility. Indeed, for 25 years, parents have been involved in an extraordinary project. They have created a splendid arboretum which changes a little each year.
It’s a great exploration ground for children. They cultivate a garden there and learn about trees and the nature that surrounds us. There’s even a small gazebo there for open-air classes. Seriously, what could be better for our little kids?

Les Louanges as in your living room, you’re in?
The Beat et Betterave Café is a bit like the heart of Freli. This charming little house turned into a café is the perfect place to meet your friends. But it's not just a great café where to hang out or to get a change from working from home. It's also THE place for memorable shows.
Hard to believe for such a small village, but the list of artists who passed by the Beat is impressive! Besides, if you want a ticket, you better stay tuned on the networks, it always goes like hot cakes! Psst, don't forget to taste their famous beet gin and tonic.
